50 Cent has lived up to his hype .His official debut album Get Rich Or DieTrying sold close to 500,000 copies on the first day.Unfortunately for alot of fans the first 500,000 copies to hit stores contained a DVD,which made alot of fans miss out.
Curtis Jackson is back on the hustle as he quckly noticed, 50 fiends are itching for more of his product, releases The New Breed.. a DVD/CD which contains videos ,concert footage and 3 extra tracks.
THE DVD
Anyone who got the DVD along with CD from Get Rich Or Die Trying will experience alot of deja`vu ..as alot of the footage in 50's interview about his rise to success was also featured in Get Rich or Die Tryig .Fortunately , 50 fiends get an interview from G Unit's Tony Yayo , hilarious behind the scene footages and a performances from a Detroit Concert with Obie Trice ,Eminem & D12.
They are also 50's videos.."Wanksta" and "in Da Club" and a behind the scene look of how the video was made. The DVD also contains 2 versions of "Heat".The street version which was on Get Rich Or Die Trying and a new animated version.
THE CD
The bonus CD contains only 3 tracks..50 and G Unit set things off with "Loyalty" produced by Red Spyda which sounds painfully familiar to 2pac's "Never had a friend like me".Eminem lends his production skills to the "8 Mile Road Remix".Dr .Dre and new AfterMath vocalist Brooklyn steal the show on "In Da Hood" with Brooklyn's voice and Dre's dark eerie beat..50 almost becomes anonymous on his track, which just happens to be a banger!
Overall for the person who already owns the Get Rich Or Die Tring DVD, the only plus for copping New Breed will be the CD and for a buyer who doesn't have.. Get Rich Or Die Trying will fully enjoy the The New Breed Package.
